Location: Purcellville, VA
Owner: Paul Breaux
Architect: Cindy Berg, AIA
Located in the picturesque rolling mountains of Purcellville, VA, this beautiful vineyard took shape over the past few years. ICM started with a 9,800 square foot Case Storage space with a state of the art facility to manufacture and store their award winning wine. Just off the Case Storage is the “Cork and Key” room. A 1,400 square foot tasting room made to resemble an old English cigar bar envisioned by the owner, Paul Breaux. Dark stain, extravagant moldings, hardwood floors, and a 20 x 20 gated wine cellar with a walnut and brass bar, allow patrons a step back into time. The bathroom space was even made to resemble an old English house designed with a real slate roof! Above the Cork and Key Room is the first Event Center. At about 6,000 square feet, this space offers elegance abound. The bright, open event space offers hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, and custom trim and fireplace. It’s also equipped with a bridal suite, catering kitchen and bathrooms for patrons. The newest addition to the property is the brand new 12,000 square foot Event Center and Tasting Room made to look like old New Orleans. An extravagant 60’ wrap around oak bar welcomes you when you open the massive front doors. Above the bar is a filigree wrought iron balcony perched in front of New Orleans style row house facades. The expansive tasting area opens up to a two tiered patio with magnificent mountain views. A mid-1800’s rustic tasting room is located in the lower level for Members Only of their wine club. Complete with a solid wood bar top, barn wood planked and stone walls finish the decor. Other spaces include classrooms for weekly wine education!
